The Lot 11 and Area Municipality, incorporated in 1982, is located in Prince County in the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. It includes the communities of Black Banks, Conway, East Bideford, Foxley River, Freeland, Murray Road and Poplar Grove. It is on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence seaboard with approximate coordinates: 46.66N°, 63.95W°.
Each year our Community Council proudly presents a recognition award to a person or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the community.
2010: Justin Murphy. Justin is a hard-working volunteer for community organizations.
2009: Stephanie Culleton. Stephanie is a dedicated volunteer for organizations that focus on cancer treatment/prevention and victim support.
2012: The Birchwood Seniors Club were the proud winners of the Lot 11 and Area Canada Day Jubilee award.
